Lechon Kawali - Tara Po Magluto - Pinoy Recipe - Filipino Foods

Ingredients

1 kilo pork belly
3 tbsp of soy sauce
2 tbsp salt
2 tbsp salt and pepper
3 tbsp whole pepper corn
3 pcs. dried bay leaves
3 cups cooking oil
Water

Let's Cook:

In a cooking pot, add the water enough to cover the pork, add all the ingredients except the cooking oil.
Bring it to a boil and simmer it for about half hour or until the pork becomes tender.
When it's done, let the meat cool down
After cooling it down, rub the salt and pepper to it.
Deep fry the the meat until it becomes golden brown.
Remove the meat from the pan and let it rest for a couple of minutes before slicing it.
Serve and enjoy.
