Adobong Baboy At Manok


Adobong Baboy At Manok from the name itself  it's a combination of pork (baboy) and chicken (manok) meats that fits with the taste of the other ingredients. Also a Filipino most favorite dish, including me. Let's start, tara po magluto.

Ingredients:

1/2 pork
1/2 chicken
1/2 cup of water
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup vinegar
2 tbsps. whole pepper corn
6 pcs garlic chopped
2 onions, chopped
1/2 cup cooking oil
2 pcs laurel leaf
2 tbsps. sugar

Let's Cook:

In a pan heat oil and saute garlic and onion, add the pork and chicken meat. Cook it until the outer part of the meat becomes light brown. 

Pour the water, bring it to boil and simmer it for about 20 - 30 minutes in a medium heat or until the meat becomes tender. 

Add the soy sauce, vinegar, whole pepper corn, laurel leaf and sugar. Cover it  and simmer for about 5 minutes in a low heat . Serve hot and enjoy.
